Jackie Christie’s relationship with her daughter Chantel Christie is strained.
“Basketball Wives” fans have been confused about Jackie Christie‘s relationship with her daughter Chantel Christie. Chantel said she moved back to LA so she could work on her relationship with Jackie. She also wanted to start her son’s modeling career. She emphasized the importance of maintaining her boundaries with Jackie. Chantel described Jackie as “controlling.” So when she had tension with Brandi Maxiell during Evelyn Lozada‘s birthday trip, she told Jackie to stay out of the drama. Chantel also refused to hug Jackie in front of the others while meeting everyone for the first time. While they felt this was strange, Jackie acted like it didn’t bother her. Interestingly enough, her relationship with Chantel will be put into focus during the next episode.
In the preview, Jackie clashes with Brittany Renner. At some point, Chantel interjects and calls Jackie out for not having this type of energy with Brandi.
The scene begins with Brittany asking Jackie, “How many drinks have you had?”
Jackie answers, “I had this water, baby. How many have you had under your hijab?”
Brittany is offended, “What are you bringing up my hijab for?”
Jackie refuses to back down, “I’m saying what I’m ******* saying. That’s what I’m doing.”
Brittany tells Jackie to “lay off the drinks” and Jackie responds with a warning.
“Girl, you better sit your little *** down. I’m not the one, *****.”
Jackie Christie was ready to throw down with Brittany Renner.
Brittany then shifts focus to Jackie’s motherhood, “Actually, you should be a mother to your daughter.”
Chantel is Team Brittany and calls out Jackie for not checking Brandi, “You gon turn up on her but let this ***** sit here and talk to me any kind of way?!”
Brittany takes another shot, “Not standing up for your daughter when every person here is head first behind your ************* kid but you! Be a ******* mother, *****!”
Jackie is ready to fight at this point and has to be held back by security.

Tonight’s episode was very unfortunate. Jackie is too old to be acting like this! She hasn’t grown one bit. Wanting to throw hands is so old Jackie! Do better! And I was disgusted to hear Evelyn tell Jennifer’s business about Jennifer’s female issues. It was so cringe! Evelyn was so wrong to share that with the girls. Also, Shaunie dipping in and out when it’s convenient is really played out. Shaunie says just enough to keep her First Lady status in tact. So fake!
Will somebody tell Ty to shutty up? She tried to get her two cents in and it fell a penny short. Mimi Faust, come get your girl!
Brittany is my new favorite! She’s got spunk!! I like her!!!
Brit shouldn’t’ve fell for what Jackie said. Jackie says stuff to get a rise out of you. So she won.
Chantel doesn’t fit with the group…it’s just weird (to me)but I get the powers that be adding more salt in the wound between Mother and Daughter for ratings.
Correct me, but did not Chantel tell Jackie to stay out of her beef with Brandy? Now when Jackie actually does just that she should have taken up Chantel? I am confused. Jackie is lose on the best of days, Brittany was right to talk and move around because Jackie old tail will try you.
Jackie is if “You don’t want no problems you just talk like you do” was a person. She needs to take her geriatric bones and sit down somewhere.
