God understands that life is hard and that we are all going through the difficulties of it daily. While He is very patient, He too desires personal interaction with you each day. In a world that seeks God less, we as believers have to seek Him more.
It’s hard to wake up early in the morning, fight horrible traffic, and be at a job you simply despise for eight hours of the day. By the time you get home, you’re drained and absolutely stressed out because you have to endure it all again the next day. But regardless of how tired you may feel, God wants some of your time too.
He loves to have relationships with those who love Him. It’s always great to pray, but have you ever just told God what was on your mind? And most importantly, do you ever ask Him for His thoughts on things?
It may sound crazy, but He would be willing to listen to whatever it is that you want to talk about. The best thing about God is He will never belittle you or make your problems seem insignificant. Unlike our closest friends and loved ones, God is the only one that can do something about your struggles. So why is it that we don’t make time for Him daily?
If you have time for your friends and those daily conversations with loved ones, you most certainly have time for God. Rather it’s an hour or so before you go to bed, or first thing in the morning, spend a little time with your Creator. You will get more peace of mind than you ever thought was possible after spending time with the one who loves you most.
