Rapper Nas is about to team up with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley for a concert in West Palm Beach, Florida. The police force in West Palm Beach are attempting to protest the concert. Their protest stems from the cutbacks and pay raise elimination that may occur due to concert expenses. West Palm Beach police sergeant Lou Penque made it clear that the 50 police officers scheduled to work the concert do not have anything against the artists themselves.
“The public thinks all we’re doing is asking for raises. We are more than willing to work with the city and they refuse to work with us,” -Sergeant Penque
The Sunfest concert will be held between April 28 and May 2 of this year.
