Solange guest appears on “Yo Gabba Gabba.”

Solange Knowles might suffer from the “Ray J syndrome.” What’s the “Ray J Syndrome” you ask? It’s the unfortunate circumstance in which the younger sibling of a superstar is simply known as “Brandy’s little brother,” or in Solange’s case, “Beyonce’s little sister.” And they aren’t put in this position because they aren’t as talented, it’s just that their older sibling is so successful that it’s hard for them to share the spotlight. It’s not intentional, and it hasn’t stopped Solange from trying to break out on her own.
After the disappointing performance of a pretty good second album, Solange has tried her hand at modeling/fashion, being a DJ, acting, and now she’s trying her hand at the world of Children Programming.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, she was a guest on “Yo Gabba Gabba.” She sang a cute little number entitled “Mama Loves Baby,” and I thought she did a pretty good job.
