Today would have been the 27th birthday of Cincinnati Bengals’ wide receiver Chris Henry. Sadly, he did not live to see this day. In December of 2009, Henry was thrown from the back of his fiancée’s pick up truck and died as a result of the incident. This tragedy came right at a time when Chris Henry was being to get this life on the right track.
“I don’t live the way I did in the past. I kind of plan my days out and take it one day at a time and stay away from the wrong people. I’m not partying anymore. I’m just focused on football right now and my family. I don’t associate with the same people. I’ve completely changed everything.” –Chris Henry
Although his life was cut so short, Chris Henry’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and teammates.
