Jennifer Williams claims Evelyn Lozada can’t speak on her marriage because she’s never had a successful marriage.
Jennifer Williams is running a full-court press to defend her marriage to Christian Gold on this season’s “Basketball Wives.” Recently, Jennifer was on a panel with her “Basketball Wives” co-stars when questions about her marriage came up. Jackie Christie recorded the panel just as Jennifer was answering the questions.
As the recording began, Jennifer said, “happy h**s ain’t hating,” when referring to the things people said about her marriage. Afterward, the panel host Jason Lee asked about Evelyn Lozada’s motivation to speak critically about her marriage to Christian. Someone shouted out, “Jealousy,” but Jennifer had her own response.
I don’t know what her concern is, because honestly, I can’t speak for her. But my thing is… she’s never been married. She’s never been in a successful marriage. So she is not one to give advice to anyone. You gotta sit this out.
After the crowd gasped at Jennifer’s response, Jason asked Jennifer about defending herself more this season. Jennifer said she would protect her marriage “at all costs.”
I think people are used to me being reserved, which I am to a certain point, and I’m not really confrontational, but I am going to protect my man at all costs. So my thing is, I don’t give a **** what you think. It’s not your business. You don’t gotta **** him at night. I do. So what’s the problem?
Christian’s legal issues became a focal point during this past season. Christian claimed he had a $250,000 restitution he had to pay, which affected his ability to pay for the wedding. It turned out his actual restitution was far less, and he ended up violating his probation in DeKalb County, GA, when his probation officer saw him in Europe with Jennifer via Jenn’s IG page.
He’s now under investigation by the FBI for running a Ponzi scheme and defrauding numerous alleged clients. Some clients are also suing Christian in Cobb County, GA, and are preventing him from legally changing his last name from Walden to Gold.

Jennifer hasn’t been in a successful marriage or relationship either if we’re being honest. The problem with stupid people is they don’t want anyone else to comment on their stupidity. But if you’re free to be dumb and sleep with and marry criminals, people are free to point out your ignorance. Jenn will regret marrying this man one day. Black women like Jennifer will marry and date criminals but you’ll rarely see a man date or marry down like this.
Jennifer has really been brainwashed by Christian and it’s so disturbing to see play out. Evelyn is problematic as it can get but she’s not wrong here. You’re supposed to be concerned when your friend is in a relationship with someone like Christian. This is gaslighting.
Evelyn try to be the bully in the group and now she’s still facing backlash from this group of ladies. Why continue to be a cast member knowing people don’t like you?
Because she loves cashing those VH1 checks. They don’t ever bounce! 🤣
