Professional athletes are always dabbling in different areas other than sports. It is usually a hit or miss situation for them. Unfortunately for D Wade, his attempt was a miss. Wade just recently reached a settlement with former business partners in an unsuccessful restaurant deal involving sports oriented dining facilities. So you know his former business partners weren’t just going to walk away without taking a piece of the pie. They requested that Wade hand over a total of $25 million, claiming that he caused them to lose a large sum of money. Once the case was brought to trial, the decision was made with no hesitation. Dwyane Wade did settle with his former partners and both parties were satisfied with the end result. For future references, D Wade may want to play it safe and stay away from the food industry.
