Rihanna says despite what you’ve heard, she isn’t thinking about Chris Brown. At least not in a romantic way.

When it comes to the most controversial of celebrity romances, Chris Brown and Rihanna have several trophies and accolades to the ceiling. After their cute teenage affair ended in a series of police reports and a bruised and bleeding Rihanna, Chris Brown became a felon and the international bad boy. Chris had to fight his way back to public grace with hit singles and notable albums, but his comeback should be contributed to his loyal fan base. And although both artists have expressed publicly that they have moved on and seemingly appear to be dating other people, in the back of everyone’s mind, it is just a matter of time before the explosive love affair is rekindled, and the headlines read a familiar scenario of a relationship that will forever haunt two of music’s biggest stars.
In a recent interview with Esquire Magazine, Rihanna reveals that she has moved on, even though she managed to get back in the studio recently to make the controversial remix to her song Birthday Cake:
“I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid. Because of a song. How stupid. If I was together with every collaborator I worked with… f*** my life.”
In the entertainment industry, of course no one can believe everything a celebrity says in an interview. But with the recent Twitter beefs between Chris, Rihanna, and Drake; I think it is pretty safe to say that it is one ship that has sailed and one “Lambo” that has been driven too many times.
Now it is time for the public to get that and move on like these two stars seem to have done already.
