Caption This: Is Lil’ Kim Channeling Her Inner Beyonce’ For Snaps?

Are a glittery leotard and half-naked ninja back-up dancers enough for Lil’ Kim to snatch her crown back?

A bad girl from Brooklyn and the protégé of one of the greatest rappers of all time, Lil’ Kim is without a doubt one of the best female rappers to ever do it. From her raw lyrical delivery on tracks to the colorful wardrobe and hair that she rocked, claiming a certain someone is guilty of mimicking, the Queen B has managed to hold down a 16 year career as a solo artist.

However, it’s been awhile since she has dropped a solid album. She has been involved in a back and forth dispute with Young Money leading lady Nicki Minaj and the two have been taking shots at each other in interviews and on diss records.

And thanks to Minaj, the ongoing beef between her and Rapper Foxy Brown was recently re-ignited after Fox accepted an invite to perform with the head Barbie in charge at this year’s Summer Jam. Even with her old school nemesis teaming up with Minaj, it didn’t stop Kim from trying to take back her spot back in the rap game. In front of an audience of thousands, Lil’ Kim hit the stage and performed at the LA Gay Pride Festival in West Hollywood.

As she came to put on a show for fans, it seemed like no one was paying much attention to what she was rapping about. Her wardrobe was what grabbed everybody’s attention, or lack there of. And some might say she was doing what she constantly bashes Nicki for doing, style-jacking for props.

  1. Hey Kim, Beyonce called and said she wants her swag back!!! How do you turn around and do the same thing you claim Nicki did to you? Whatever.

  2. SMH! Kim used to be so damn fly so what happened??!! Now she just looks tragic. All she needs is a great stylist and some good music to get back on track. I’m rooting for her.
