Is Mimi Faust not returning for the next season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta? The question has popped up now after a recent interview that Mimi did with 979THEBOX. Although she is currently apart of the ratchetness and drama right now, Mimi said that after all that has gone down on the show that reality TV really isn’t for her:
“It’s definitely not for me. It’s not. Um, the whole process, it’s bananas. The way they, everything goes down, the way, you know, we don’t know anything”
The Mimi, Stevie J. and Joseline love triangle continues to intrigue the show’s viewers, even though Mimi and Stevie J. aren’t together anymore. After discovering that Joseline was pregnant by Stevie and being called out by Joseline for being a Ja Rule groupie, Mimi has held her composure fairly well, so well that it has led many viewers to think that the show is scripted.
While many people think reality TV shows period are nothing but a bunch of fake foolery, Mimi said that Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is far from it. And despite what is thought, her and the other cast members of the show have no idea what is going to be revealed to the public until the episode airs:
“It’s like we’re in the dark and then they throw us to the wolves so you know for everybody that thinks this show is scripted, no, no”
Yet she has her own addiction to watching reality TV shows:
“Oh God, I like em all. Like I’m like a reality show junkie. Yes, I watch my Housewives and Basketball Wives, all of it, I watch em all”
Even though Love and Hip Hop Atlanta has made Mimi’s pockets fatter, it still hasn’t set in yet that she is really apart of a reality TV show, something that she never imagined herself doing:
“I never thought in a millions years that I would be doing something like this myself, never. Like I still don’t, it’s so surreal…”
So does this mean we won’t see Mimi next season?
I’ve been thinking about this and I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t come back for the next season. I mean she gets harassed all day on Twitter about being so “stupid” for staying with Stevie J all these years by chicks who are just as “stupid” in their own love lives. It’s enough to make anybody reconsider going back. I like Mimi so I hope she comes back.
Aww I hope she comes back. She can always come back to show what it’s like for her to move on from Stevie J. and date other people.
I think Mimi is just venting. She’s irritated with the response to what we’ve seen so far, but she’ll most likely return since Stevie J. isn’t or can’t even afford to give her child support.
So does this mean Jose is engaged to Stebbie J. now?
