What would the 2012 Olympics be without a little bit of drama and scandal between the athletes involved? LeBron James may be the golden child of the NBA, now especially since he now has a ring; but that doesn’t mean that he would able to escape the clutches of groupiedom and speculation. Although he’s newly engaged to his longtime high school sweetheart, Savannah; there have always been whispers of infidelity on James’ part. I guess the whispers have started to get to Savannah, since she packed her bags and went to London with him. It’s a smart move on her part since I’m sure plenty of groupies have their eyes set on LeBron , and all the possible groupie tales they can spread across the internet afterwards. Savannah may be keeping the groupies at bay with her trip to London to join her man partake in the 2012 Olympics, but now she might have to worry about the other athletes participating in the games as well. With one particular athlete being a very pretty U.S. Olympic swimmer.
According to the latest rumors, Mr. James has folks talking after he took a picture with U.S. Olympic Swimmer Lauren Perdue, and then even invited the pretty girl to dinner. This would have all been so quiet if Lauren didn’t feel the need to tweet about it.

That’s the case here.
Lauren Perdue is a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team, competing in the 4×200-meter freestyle relay. On her twitter account, she posted a photo of herself with LeBron James. The two might have a dinner date coming up.
Here’s Lauren’s tweet that started all the gossip in the first place:
@LoPerdue: LeBron James just invited me to dinner…Um wuuuutttt?!?
Of course, she deleted the tweet after all hell broke loose. Not before she tweeted a picture of the two of them though.
This didn’t go over well, and because of the negative reactions to the invitation, Lauren promptly declined:
It was probably an innocent invitation that was made into a scandalous one by the press, and Lauren did what she needed to do to save her own ass and reputation. But it’s funny as hell that she tried to make it seem like LeBron was trying to get at her and she declined because she ‘s “better than that, and there to “race.” Especially since she was originally a little too excited about the invitation in the first place. Whatever. Do what you gotta do, boo.
Damn. She threw Bron Bron under a bus. If his woman is there with him, this was probably innocent. Besides, most of Bron Bron’s jumpoffs are black chicks that look exactly like Savannah. He does have a type.
Either he has a type or he’s a really spiteful bastard.
Lauren’s tweet did not mention or reference Lebron wanting to get with her. She just seemed excited to meet him and be asked to dinner with him. Not every girl wants Lebron, especially a hot white girl from the south. Do you really think she would lower get standards to be another notch in his belt, in London, at the Olympics, where you can’t fart without having it broadcasted all over the world??
Lauren is the prettiest girl on the US swim team, and probably the prettiest girl on the US Olympic team overall. She could have any guy she wants including me!! I highly doubt she would lower her standards for him. Like I said, not every girl wants the golden child.
As far as Savannah not leaving his a–. He took her out if the ghetto, made a name for her, gave her everything and anything she wants, why would she leave him?? She will hang in there as long as possible cause the longer she does, the more money he makes, and the more she gets after the divorce. After the divorce she goes back to being the no body she was before him. I guess her being embarrassed by him cheating don’t mean nothing to her when millions is involved. Savannah has no respect for herself, so why the hell should Lebron respect her. No matter how many times he cheats, her lame a– will stay because she loved the spot light, and lives being out of the ghetto!!
Chile bye. About 99.99% of white chicks want some black dyck at least once in their life. So no she’s not “too good” for anything. She acted just like a groupie and she would have gone to dinner had she not gotten all the nasty mentions warning her not to do so. You people kill me coming to black blogs acting like white women are better than the Savannahs of the world. How do you call Savannah ghetto in one breath and then praise the white chick in the next when she’s the one that behaved like a groupie?! Meanwhile Savannah has been LeBron’s girlfriend before he had anything. White women can be groupies too, hell go to an NBA basketball game or a NFL game and you’d be surprised. Stop coonin on here.
You know, I think that you are (unintentionally) disrespectful to both parties here, especially LeBron. He’s a person, not just star, and there are I am sure plenty of reasons other than his fame and body that a person might want to know him. It is very cynical to suggest otherwise. And what does race have to do with it? You think a white woman can’t enjoy the company of a black man without sex, fame or money being part of the attraction? I don’t mean to be disrespectful to you, but I think you’ve got some thinking to do about how you see black men.
She’s pretty but if it was innocent, why did he invite her alone? Why couldn’t he have just had dinner with her and his teammates or even Savannah? I don’t think this was innocent. LeBron has a reputation for cheating on his wife to be. I know he’s the “golden child” for now as y’all say but he’s human too and most importantly an athlete. I’m sure he just didn’t anticipate Lauren to tweet about it the way she did.
If a man wants to cheat, he’s going to do it. He will find a way. It doesn’t matter that Savannah came with him to London, especially since she’s ride or die. She will be there and he knows it. This Lauren girl is pretty and she’s a fellow athlete. And she’s in the Olympics too. Of course he wants to take her to dinner and smash and leave Savannah in the hotel room by herself. Let’s not act like LeBron’s innocent. He has a reputation that the NBA has been trying to cover up for years.

And where was Savannah when all of this went down? Doesn’t she ever get tired of this? There’s not enough money in the world, or red bottomed shoes to make me put up with a serial cheater. Some women can be purchased, but I can’t. It’s not worth it in the end when you can’t even take a trip to London without your fiance embarrassing you.

There’s no reason that LeBron needs to take another woman to dinner. Had it been a group thing, that would be acceptable. But a man on his way to getting married should not be inviting random women out to dinner. That was disrespectful to Savannah and it just shows that he’s the typical athlete that allowed his success to get to his head. Savannah continues to stay, so I can’t say I feel sorry for her anymore. Had he been some broke dude, I bet she’s be a lot less tolerant of the cheating. It’s sad what women will put up with just to marry a rich man .
Lauren needs to take a few courses in groupie etiquette. You never tweet about it, just be about it. Discretion bish.
