Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons are over.
Angela Simmons‘ personal life has remained a subject of headlines despite the cancellation of WE tv’s “Growing Up Hip Hop.” Many fans of the show are aware that Rapper Yo Gotti proclaimed his interest in Angela in his song, “Down in the DM” back in 2015. Eventually, Gotti began dating Angela publicly in 2022. After it was rumored that Angela and Gotti had parted ways weeks ago, Angela confirmed the breakup during a recent interview with Angie Martinez.
Angie asked, “Are you in your single girl era again?”
Angela answered, “Not by choice, but you know I respect him. It’s all love.”
When Angie asked if the breakup was Angela’s choice, she said it wasn’t something she wanted.
“I wouldn’t have chose it. But it was what was best, but I wouldn’t have chose it, no.”
She added, “I’m saying that I’m a lover. I love love. I love relationships.”
Angie wanted answers, “This man proclaimed that he wanted to get with Angela Simmons, this man like pursued you…Did he end the relationship or?”
Angela responded, “No, it was my choice. I had to make a decision.”
She also confirmed heartbreak was involved.
“Yeah. It’s hard. I feel like for me, relationships…’cause I get really invested…like when I’m in love, I’m in love, which means I’m staying with you. But yeah, my feelings…it didn’t feel good,” Angela said.
What’s meant for you will be for you. You will find your person Queen, just keep the faith and trust in God.
I didn’t expect Angela to get into anymore relationships after the death of her child’s father. I am the same way when I’m in love. I love ❤️ wholeheartedly 🙏. And no it doesn’t feel good when you end the relationship.
It rarely works out when you are a man’s conquest. Wishing Angela the best.
Angela is being honest with herself and I give her props for that.
