Beyonce and Jay-Z have become one of the biggest power couples in Hollywood. Both have dominated music for years, and both have made their marks in entrepreneurship as well. So with all these achievements between the two of them, it’s no shocker that they are regular on the Forbes “Richest” lists. Although the couple has taken on many challenges and had many successes in their separate careers, they now take on parenthood together for the first time thanks to their daughter Blue Ivy. Many believed that motherhood would be the one thing to slow down Beyonce’s reign in the music industry. But since Blue’s birth, Beyonce’s current album 4 continues to do well on the charts, and she’s even been confirmed as the headline performer of the upcoming Super Bowl. And Jay-Z is also still making waves with music, as it has been said that he’s working on some new music as well, and he’s also been said to have another album with Kanye in the works. So it’s probably understandable why there’s a lot of men out here who wish they could be in Jay-Z’s shoes.
Rapper Slim Thug, a rapper out of Houston, had a little courage the other day and decided he was going to admit publicly that he wishes he was in Jay-Z’s position. The rapper is no stranger to Beyonce, as the two have collaborated in the past, and even made the hit “Check On It” together years ago before Beyonce was Mrs. Carter.
He tweets:
Of course his mentions blew up after this tweet, so he promptly deleted it, and went in on bloggers for posting it.
The most interesting thing about all of this is that Slim Thug used to date former Destiny’s child member LeToya Luckett. In fact, they were rumored to have dated for about two years.
I bet he does. His rap career hasn’t been relevant since 2004. Lol.
And he used to date LaToya. LOL damn.
I guess he wants to be a stay at home husband…he doesn’t have a career, so I don’t blame him.
Beyonce would never…
This is so disrespectful. SMH
I hope Slim Thugga never really thought he had a shot with King B! LOL
He’s only saying what many men have thought or said. As well, he is still very relevant in the music industry and he’s a very successful business owner. I’m from and live in Houston, TX , and we support him and his new (yes new) music.
