Does Laura Govan have an issue with Draya Michele? Laura Govan appeared on the very first season of Basketball Wives LA and is now back again for Season 2 with her sister Gloria Govan, rumors now swirling about who the cast members will be for Season 3. And Laura has again been involved in some drama this season as the beef between her and Jackie Christie has reignited again. It was clear from last season that Laura and cast mate Jackie Christie were at odds. And their beef with each other has carried over to this season of the show, Laura continuously acknowledging the fact that she still had her reservations about Jackie and her true intentions with her. Apparently though, Jackie Christie isn’t the only one from the show that Laura has some issues with, or at least has some unkind words for. But first, Laura addresses her beef with Jackie and why she is looking to get her back for how she treated her in the past in an interview that she did with Juicy Magazine:
“I wanted to mirror exactly how she treated me last year. For her to go back and forth with that sh-t was exhausting. I didn’t even tell my sister what I was doing until the end, and she was prying it out of me. I didn’t wanna hear any opinions, and I didn’t give a fu-k. I knew how I was going to deal with it. Immature or not, I didn’t give a sh-t how the world seen it. I got my rocks off so I was good. It was a lot y’all didn’t get to see.”
Laura going into more detail about her real issue with Jackie:
“One major thing that set me off is that I just had a baby. I’m thinking its no reason for her to do what you did to me. I didn’t bad mouth her [on Season 1] I didn’t talk bad about her because that’s not who I am. She just came up all this sh-t in her own brain, and made me this one person that I’m not, to these girls I didn’t know.”
Draya’s name got pulled into the conversation, Laura admitting that she wasn’t feeling her on Season 1 of the show and still thinks she is much of a slut in her opinion:
“My focus wasn’t on nobody but Jackie. I could see everybody else for who they were. I didn’t like Draya [season 1] for scenes off camera, you guys couldn’t see. With Draya, I’m like, you’re still a sl-t bucket, but Draya is Draya. She does her thing. She’s like a blunt, you smoke it, you hit it, you pass it and then you toss it and then its a roach and you keep it moving. This year, she’s still the same person but she’s growing, taking ant steps, but she’s getting there. I don’t dislike Draya at all.”
While Laura says she doesn’t “dislike” Draya, that won’t stop her from calling Draya names, “sl-t bucket” in particular.
