Walter Confirms That His Relationship With Kenya Moore Was Fake

Was Kenya Moore and Walter Jackson’s relationship fake and just for TV? For the last couple of weeks, it has been speculated that Kenya Moore’s on-screen boyfriend Walter Jackson was cheating on the reality star with an up and coming singer in Atlanta. Recently, it was eventually confirmed on the singer’s Instagram account that Walter and Kenya were over, but regardless of what the pictures say, Kenya Moore has been extremely tight-lipped on the status of her relationship with Walter. Instead of revealing if she and Walter are still a couple, Kenya urges fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta to keep tuning in. Well it appears that we don’t have to keep watching to get the truth about Kenya and Walter’s relationship, considering that Walter has just spilled all the tea on his “relationship” with Kenya Moore in a recent interview.

Walter decided to take some time out of his day and give his side of the story to his on-screen romance with Kenya Moore. And according to Walter, his relationship with Kenya Moore was a fake one. Although Walter claims that he did date Kenya  three years ago, he revealed that the relationship only lasted for about three months, considering it was a long distance relationship that didn’t seem to have the spark he was looking for.

Walter also dropped a bombshell and told Atlanta radio station V-103 that although he did date Kenya in the past, what we saw on-screen was nothing more than a staged relationship. According to Walter, Kenya asked him to “pretend” to be her boyfriend on the show, and Walter said he only went along with it to get his 15 minutes of fame.

Apparently, before she began taping the show, Kenya asked Walter about pretending to date her for the hit Bravo series. Walter recalls the conversation:

“[Kenya said]. ‘I’m going to be doing this show. So what do you think about doing Reality TV?’ I said I don’t know that’s kind of a big stretch there. ‘What if you played my boyfriend on the show? ‘ So you know, I had to think about it. So I call my boy Chris Ruffen, I call my boy Greg Johnson, I call my boy Morris. And I asked them what do y’all think about this? I asked them should I put myself out there because that’s not me. Everybody was like, hey man, get your 15 minutes of fame.”

 

Although Walter admits he was okay with the staged relationship, he does confirm that his breaking point was when Kenya repeatedly began to bring up marriage and having kids. He says it’s not what he signed up for. And as a result, he began to feel uncomfortable pretending for the cameras.

Interestingly enough, he did claim that Kenya’s method of retaliation for him walking away from the situation is gay rumors. According to Walter, Kenya has been telling people Walter is gay because she’s so embarrassed about how things turned out. He denied being gay and also confirmed that he is dating the up and coming singer he posed with on Instagram.
