Is Nicki Minaj planning to protest against the Grammys over snub? Nicki Minaj can be very vocal when it comes to people dissing her, a part of her personality that lands her in hot water from time to time. And even though she has lots of fans, some fellow artists in the industry are not too sold on the image that the rapper portrays. Despite her critics’ views of her, Nicki has continued to keep at it with her music, releasing Pink Friday: Roman’s Reloaded The Re-Up, a re-release of her debut album with a few additional tracks on it. With all the success that the first one brought, this particular album hasn’t been pulling in large numbers, yet Nicki still continues to find other ways to bring in the dough, dabbling in cosmetics. As bringing in money is always something that puts a smile on artists’ faces, the biggest prize that they all have their hearts set on is taking home a Grammy.
Receiving awards for her work before, Nicki Minaj is most used to if not winning, being nominated for an award. But much to her supporters’ surprise, Nicki is not listed for any Grammy nominations at all this year, a piece of news that sent her die hard fans into an uproar. The outrage didn’t stop with her fans as Nicki’s manager Cortez Bryant had something to say about it too. As her fans were not happy about Nicki getting snubbed, word has it that Nicki herself is planning to boycott The Grammys over it:
Nicki Minaj is said to be furious over not getting any Grammy nominations this year. At this same time last year, Nicki was the Grammy golden girl, making a huge grand entrance with a priest in a red Versace robe, performing “Roman Holiday” and being nominated for three awards, including Best New Artist. But things are completely different this year, with Nicki not scoring any nominations for her album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. According to an industry insider, the Barb is said to be so upset over the snub, that she is considering “boycotting the show altogether in protest.”
Nicki Minaj hasn’t officially made any statements pertaining to the Grammy snub. But she has blocked a few of her fans on Twitter for voicing their opinions about the situation to her:

She’s really a piece of work. How are you going to act like a brat when you’re the one that made the conscious choice to put out crappy music?

She’s blocking her fans on Twitter now?! Girl BYE! These celebs are hilarious. There’s no way I would still stan for someone who blocked me for being real.
Nicki really needs to grow up and stop taking this so personally. Miguel didn’t get a nomination last year, and he was upset about it. He ranted on Twitter but then he went back in the studio and made a smash record. Now he’s been nominated for like 5 grammys. That’s what you do. You go back to the studio and get even. Not block your fans and refuse to show up to the damn awards show.
She honestly needs to drop the gimmicks and go back to the studio and record a REAL album. People are tired of the garbage she’s been cranking out.
You obviously haven’t heard the re release of her new album…Listen to songs from the reup like up in flames and freedom and all of those…then come back and tell me if shes still putting out garbage.
She’s having a pity party. She needs to act like the strong woman she likes to pretend she is and get over herself.
I think the Grammys just got confused. Chick has like 3 albums with the same name. How many times should she get nominated for the same album? Stop with the Pink Friday bs.

i kind of get why dhe didn’t get nominated because roman reloaded was a mixed album. it wasn’t full on rap or pop.
