NeNe Leakes and Gregg’s engagement was confirmed on New Year’s Day. The reality star took to her Twitter account to post pictures of Gregg’s romantic New Year’s Eve proposal. As we reported recently, NeNe Leakes claims the two split once she began to feel like Gregg didn’t appreciate her anymore. NeNe also claimed that Gregg also had a wandering eye and stepped outside of the marriage. Regardless, the couple claims they have worked through all of their issues, and now they are ready to move forward and plan their second wedding.

NeNe and Gregg Leakes stopped by the Wendy Williams show earlier today and they chatted it up about their upcoming wedding, Kenya Moore’s alleged fake relationship with Walter Jackson, and whether or not NeNe has any plans to walk away from the show and get her own spin-off.

Kenya Moore is still being criticized left and right for allegedly asking Walter to pretend to be her boyfriend for the cameras. Wendy asked NeNe how she feels about Kenya faking a romance to secure her spot on Real Housewives of Atlanta and also how she felt about the scene the supposed fake couple had together last night at the fishing hole.

NeNe says:

“I think it was a good scene. A good acting scene. I almost believed them.”

When Wendy asked NeNe Leakes if everyone in Atlanta is talking about the alleged fake relationship, NeNe says:

“Yeah a lot of people talk about it. I’ve been a housewife of Atlanta for five seasons, I’m going into my sixth season. Everything we do on the show is legit. We’re not scripted. We are real. What you see happen is what really happened on the show. So to look at Kenya and Walter and to know they did something unethical to our franchise, I think it’s awful.”

Wendy also asked the happy couple of they had any big wedding plans. NeNe confirmed that the would be doing something for bravo in front of the cameras and it will be a big wedding:

“The first time we got married, it was a big wedding. But now that I am the fabulous NeNe Leakes honey it will be even bigger.”

Of course, now that NeNe has legitimate acting gigs, many people suspect that the reality star’s time on RHOA is coming to an end. But NeNe claims she has no plans to leave the show or do a spin-off:

“The platform for Real Housewives of Atlanta has given me so much. It has opened up so many huge doors of opportunity for me. I can’t see myself really leaving. And I also feel like I’m the mom. And I’m the only original housewife that is left. So I don’t really feel like I want to leave.

“And then I have to be there to protect and to make sure people aren’t coming on there with phony stories honey.”

  1. Kenya is still trying to pretend the relationship was real and is calling Walter gay on Twitter. Just because a man isn’t interested doesn’t mean he’s gay. She’s so annoying to me.

  2. I’m happy for NeNe and Gregg but yeah, I can also do without Kenya. People stay stroking her ego on Twitter telling her she makes the show. Umm no, her FAKE LIFE makes the show. How sad. I really hope they replace her next season with someone else with a real storyline.

    1. I honestly don’t see how she makes the show, Every scene with her and Walter is terrible. Her ridiculous twirling and gone with the wind crap is lame. If she makes the show then this show is in trouble. I honestly can’t stand to watch her longer than 5 seconds. They should have made Marlo a housewife and kept Sheree. I liked them better than Kenya and Porsha.

  3. I don’t care for Kenya….she is a loud mouth. conceited woman. She thinks to highly of herself. She needs to take it down a couple of notches. She is no better then any one else on the show.
