Did Singer Jessie J. throw shade at Rihanna on Twitter? Rihanna has been caught up in an ongoing love triangle with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran. And it is still not clear at times if Rihanna and Chris are on their way back to being a couple again or not, especially since Chris went to “handle business” with Karrueche at a trade show they went to this past Saturday to present his new Black Pyramid clothing line to potential investors. Rihanna’s fans weren’t too happy with the move Chris pulled but Rihanna let them know quickly that she could handle her own self. As for her and Karrueche, the two have gotten into a photo battle on Instagram, posting pictures of themselves in lingerie, competing with each other from afar. And to make things even more interesting between them, Karrueche and Rihanna ended up partying at the same club a few days ago, and that was followed by yet another cryptic message from Rihanna, looking to be telling Karrueche not to “kill her vibe”.
Now Rihanna has grown accustomed to throwing shade on Instagram and Twitter to both Karrueche and Chris whenever new reports come out about them hanging out and spending time together, or at Karrueche merely because she used to date Chris. Not only that, Rihanna uses her account to photos of herself with Chris Brown on a regular basis and has continued to post other controversial ones too, some of them being weed related photos that not all of her Navi is thrilled about. As her fans, well most of them, can’t seem to get enough of Rihanna’s half naked, blunt smoking pics, Singer Jessie J. however must be growing tired of them as she shaded the pop star from her Twitter account:
While Jessie J. tried to claim that she wasn’t talking about anybody in particular, the Navi was at full attention and fired away at her for shading Rihanna. After getting attacked by angry Rihanna stans, Jessie J. laughed it off but went on to backtrack on her words and said that her tweets weren’t aimed at anyone specifically:
“Hahaha my TL is hilarious. My last tweet about instagram sadly wasn’t an indirect at anyone inparticular. There is definately more than 1 person posting those kind of pictures. Hence my tweet.”
And though she tried to clear up her tweets, Jessie J. says that she is entitled to have an opinion and express it if she wants to:
“But I will openly say the amount of pictures including men and woman nude and girls and guys promoting smoking drugs on the internet these days is a lot. Feels like the boundries are disappearing. Its become fashionable and in my opinion its too much. Call me what you want but that’s MY opinion and I’m intitled to one.”
It was much too late for that though as it was only a short matter of time before Rihanna clapped back using what has become her favorite way to respond to people’s shade, Instagram:
If there is one thing that Jessie J. should know about Rihanna is that she doesn’t take well to shade and will come for you if you throw it at her.
I’m not sure why Jessie J. didn’t stand by her shade. She told the truth. Don’t backtrack, own the shade you throw. #LOSER
Who? I have never heard of this chick. Get your shine up I guess. LOL.
She told the damn truth. Rihanna does tries to hard on Instagram and it’s lame.
I wish she would have stood by her comments. She pulled a punk move!

Funny because Rihanna’s “shade” can also work for her situation with Karrueche. All the nasty things she’s been saying about that girl on Twitter and Instagram says more about her and how ignorant she is.
The truth hurts. Rihanna thinks she’s being cute and so cool on Instagram but it really makes her look stupid. Not like Chris isn’t doing enough of that already.
Jessie J. just said what most people have been thinking about Rihanna. I know several people who have unfollowed her on IG because her antics were just too much and annoying.
