Beyonce is back and the superstar is set to release her fifth studio album this year. There has already been plenty of speculation surrounding what her upcoming album will sound like, and there have even been rumors about which artists will be a part of the project. Regardless of the speculation, Beyonce has been pretty mum about her next album, but a photo of Beyonce and Jay-Z together in the studio might have at least confirmed that Beyonce’s rapper and businessman husband will be featured on the album. With an upcoming documentary on HBO and a headline performance at the Super Bowl, it’s clear that 2013 will easily be Beyonce’s year.
With such a big year planned, it’s no surprise that Beyonce nabbed the February cover of GQ Magazine. But what shocked many is how incredibly sexy Bey looked while she flaunted her post Blue Ivy body.

Beyonce also gave an interview and got candid about being a new mom and understanding just how powerful she is at this stage of her music career.
Beyonce on waiting until she was 30 to become a mom:
“I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal: By the time I was 30 years old, I could do what I want. I’ve reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I’ve sacrificed a lot of things, and I’ve worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry. So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it.
“I love my job, but it’s more than that: I need it. Because before I gave birth, it was the only time in my life, all throughout my life, that I was lost.”
It’s always been said that Beyonce likes to watch all of her performances over and over again to critique herself and improve as a performer. Beyonce confirms this and says it’s one of the reasons she wanted to perform at the Super Bowl:
“One of the reasons I connect to the Super Bowl is that I approach my shows like an athlete. You know how they sit down and watch whoever they’re going to play and study themselves? That’s how I treat this. I watch my performances, and I wish I could just enjoy them, but I see the light that was late. I see, ‘Oh God, that hair did not work.’ Or ‘I should never do that again.’ I try to perfect myself. I want to grow, and I’m always eager for new information.”
Beyonce even admitted that she understands that she is powerful and now can come to terms with all of her success:
“I now know that, yes, I am powerful. I’m more powerful than my mind can even digest and understand.”
She looks absolutely amazing! Slay Bey!!!!!
