Ashanti and Nelly have been rumored to have had an on and off relationship for years. Although the former couple never really confirmed that they were together, to most in the industry, it was just kind of common knowledge. Well now they are off and according to the latest gossip, it’s because of infidelity. While some tried to say Ashanti cheated on Nelly, more people are accusing Nelly of stepping outside of the relationship. Regardless, the shade throwing between these two on the social networks has been thick ever since Nelly found himself a new boo in Tae Heckard (video vixen, now actress). Folks close to Ashanti are saying Tae was creeping around with Nelly while they were in a serious relationship. We don’t know if the rumors are true, but it appears that Ashanti’s little sister Shia isn’t too thrilled about Nelly’s new love interest.
And nowadays, when people have issues, they like to bring them on Twitter. Apparently Ashanti’s little sister had some words for Tae, and if she is really is referring to Tae in the tweets, it seems as if she’s warning Nelly’s new boo not to come to New York (Ashanti’s stomping grounds) anytime soon.

Ashanti for the most part is taking the high road but she did throw a little shade on her Instagram account, hinting that her ex boyfriend Nelly isn’t as “hard” as he wants people to believe:
Ashanti’s people even resorted to writing nasty comments on Tae’s Instagram account and calling her a side chick repeatedly and even blaming her for Ashanti and Nelly’s break up.
I’m going to need Ashanti’s people to not make her look so bitter. This is a bit much.

Nelly did her a favor so move on and cut out the high school antics. Her sister needs her own identity. Ashanti is a big girl – since when does she need her sister and her “Presidential Dimes” to be all up in her relationship? Grow up already…
Ashanti’s sister has always been a bird. But it’s funny how Nelly is taking pics and doing more with this new girl and he was with Ashanti for all these years and NEVER claimed her. Crazy.

Sweetjasmine89..wasn’t defending anyone. Only Nelly n Ashanti actually. Knows what happened and why. If he cheated then she should be glad he’s out of her life. Of course she may be hurting but again they are the only 2 that actually knows what happened regardless of what someone else says.
