Yesterday’s Super Bowl game will go down as one of the best in NFL history as the Baltimore Ravens emerged victorious after holding off the San Francisco 49ers. Before the game itself was played though, Beyoncé had been the center of much of the attention on one of the greatest days in professional football. The singer, who is known to put in some serious time and work into her practices before big performances, turned it up a notch when it came to her preparation for the half time show after the “silly” outrage surfaced after it was reported that Beyoncé lip-synced the National Anthem at President Barack Obama’s second inauguration. Beyoncé subtly clapped back at her critics over her inauguration performance and silenced them for sure after she bellowed out the song live during a press conference, assuring everyone that she would be singing all of her songs live at the Super Bowl.
Whether people are still stuck on it or not, Beyoncé seemed to have moved past the lip-sync scandal and put all her focus into the show that she was about to put on for millions of viewers across the country. Being in the music game for 16 years now, it would be hard to be believe that Beyoncé gets nervous like that as she appears to be rather fearless on stage during her shows. As much of a perfectionist that she is and an entertainer who is know for putting it down, Beyoncé admits that she is human just like anybody else and that she does have those moments where she becomes nervous and needs some calming down.
So what is Bey’s remedy for that? Making love to her husband Jay-Z.
During a press conference that she did in New Orleans, Beyoncé says making love to Jay was the one thing that settled her nerves before the major performance that she was about to do:
”When I get nervous or I don’t have everything together I like to make love to my husband.”
Beyoncé adds that she had been preparing for her Super Bowl performance for months and she was very excited to have her hubby join her for the ride:
”I’ve been preparing for five months for this moment. I’m happy I’ll have my husband there with me – it’s every women’s dream to feel this way about her husband.”
The anticipation of Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime performance was through the roof. And something was telling us that we were all in for a great one. Looks like we were right.

Using a little time with the hubby to calm down nerves…yeah, I can relate. LOL.
I loved her show! It was good to see Kelly and Michelle up there too. Beyonce just has that “it” factor that makes her so exciting to watch.
Good show, Bey snatched wigs like I knew she would. But Michelle was awkward as usual LMBO.
I love Bey & Jay!
Everyone did their thing. Alicia Keys wasn’t as bad as I thought she would be and kept her screaming to a minimum. Bey was the sh-t, loved Kelly and Michelle’s appearance. And of course, Bey kept her haters in a frenzy. Oh and the Ravens won. I couldn’t have asked for anything else.
Oh goodness, Bey gets married and has no problem talking freaky in interviews. LOL. Love it!
Kelly and Michelle were a non factor for me. I wasn’t thrilled to see them. They took up Bey’s solo time. No bueno.
Well damn!
And YASSSS to Bey talking about her boo more interviews. It’s about time!!!
I agree with you about Michelle, but Kelly did her thing!
Bey and her background singers (DC) were awesome and gorgeous. J-Hud gave me life with her performance. Alicia Keys…was pretty.
Bey is finally loosening up with her tight a$$
LOL agreed
