Was the Chris Brown car accident really the paparazzi’s fault? When it was thought that things couldn’t get any more crazier for Chris Brown, they surely did the day before the Grammys. He was on the verge of facing charges over his brawl with Frank Ocean and had to return to court for a hearing over him allegedly not being truthful about the completion of his community service hours. And yesterday afternoon, Chris Brown was involved in a car crash where the singer slammed his Porsche into a wall after he was said to have been chased by the paparazzi. Chris walked away with no serious injuries but his car suffered major damages as it was completely totaled as a result of the crash and had to me towed away from the scene. The initial thought of some may have been that Chris caused the car crash himself. But supposedly, Chris was not the one to blame for the wreck as the singer’s rep claimed that Chris Brown was cut off by a pair of photographers in what he claimed to be Chris’ attempt to dodge an “aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi”.

The paps however is saying that the story that Chris is telling is straight nonsense. The man who is in charge of the photography agency that the photographers work for, Chris Doherty, revealed to TMZ that he is very certain that his photographers who have been accused of allegedly causing Chris to crash his car are not the ones at fault here.

Doherty also goes on to claim that his photographers did not arrive on the scene until after Chris Brown wrecked his car and says that Chris found it “convenient” to point the finger at them since they did show up afterwards, sending a message to Chris to be careful with his words:

“No photographers were following him at the time he crashed … He crashed his car and it’s convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements.”

The two photographers were also questioned by the police about the crash that took place and the officers were said to have “appeared to be satisfied” with what they were being told, the photographers claiming their innocence to them.

As for Chris Brown’s next move, the singer is possibly on his way to filing a lawsuit over the car crash.

  1. Chris really needs to stay low. People are obviously out to get him and he gives them ample opportunities to do it.
