Kanye West is without a doubt known to be one of the most sought out people in the music industry when it comes to making music. The producer and rapper knows how to make hits, and he’s been labeled as someone who truly has an ear for pretty good music. So it’s no shocker that a lot of today’s biggest artists want to get in the studio with him, and get his opinions on their new music. Despite Kanye’s musical talent and producer skills, he has been labeled as a perfectionist by other artists who have collaborated with him. Kanye is known for pushing people to step outside of their comfort zones to make the kind of music he thinks will sell. Regardless of his reputation and talent, it now appears that he’s still managed to turn some people off from working with him.
Canadian producer Deadmau5 told Vibe the other day that he has absolutely no desire to collaborate with Kanye because he “hates” him. According to Deadmau5, he feels when it comes to making good music, Kanye just tries way too hard. He realized saying this out in the public could burn some bridges and hurt his career, but he feels he has to be honest.
He says when asked if there are any rappers he would like to work with:
“Anyone other than f*cking Kanye. I f*cking hate him. He’s just trying too hard.
“I’m not trying. I mean it…I just don’t give a f*ck about pretty much anything. I tell it the way it is, sometimes more often than I should, and that is detrimental.”
He might burn bridges, but I think Kanye tries too hard too. His music hasn’t been all that great lately either.
He’s stupid. I’m not saying Kanye runs the business but if this guy is developing a reputation as someone who talks too much sh-t about other artists, no one is going to want to work with him. He needs to humble himself.
Cosign. This guy is a newbie and he’s going after people that have already established themselves in the business. Not smart.
He said the truth.
Of course Kanye tries too hard. That goes without saying. lol
Who? LOL. He needs to establish himself before he hates on people who have already done what he’s trying to do.
Deadmau5 is an international star rising while Ya’s is fading faster than his porno star GF’s.

Now I’m not a huge Kanye fan, but it sounds to me like Deadmau5 is the one that is currently “trying too hard”. Like come on, that’s why you hate Kanye? Of all the reasons you could hate him that’s why? That interview screams “I’m jealous and I’m trying to come up by starting beef with a bigger artist for no reason”
