Mary J. Blige’s Financial Problems Continue, Singer Hit with $900,000 Tax Lien

Mary J. Blige‘s financial problems continue? Things have been looking up for Mary J. Blige’s personal life as she has tackled her alcoholism. And she has recently landed herself on the cover of the latest issue of Vibe Magazine. But with all the positives that Mary J. Blige has to show for, her financial troubles are starting to overshadow all those good things that are going on for the award-winning singer. Ever since she appeared in the Burger King Crispy Chicken commercial, questions arose about how Mary’s finances were looking as she received much backlash over the commercial. In addition, numerous reports have revealed that Mary J. Blige has been battling money problems, a lot of her financial woes being centered around the charity organization that she founded. And the money problems recently just got worse for the singer as she was slapped with a another lawsuit from a bank for defaulting on a large loan that she took out with them for her charity. When it appeared that things couldn’t get much worse for Mary J. Blige as far as her finances were concerned, they managed to do so as TMZ now reports that Mary has racked up over $900,000 in back taxes according to documentation that was obtained by the website:

Blige — who was JUST sued  earlier this month for allegedly defaulting on a $500k bank loan — is now on the hook for $901,769.65 in back taxes to the Garden State, this according to official documents obtained by TMZ.

The tax lien is the latest in a string of financial woes for the Grammy winner — just last year, Mary J. was  sued for allegedly defaulting on a $2.2 million bank loan .. and before that, her charity was sued for not paying back a $250k loan.
