K. Michelle has been making major moves ever since she became a reality TV show star. And after seeing much success as a member of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast, K. Michelle started to see things take off for her in other areas as well as K. got another shot at her music career as the singer was offered another record deal, this time with Warner Bros. And she is in the process of working on first solo album titled ‘Rebellious Soul’, which K. says describes her personality to a tee. Her love life is even appearing to be on the up and up again as K. Michelle informed her fans that she now has a new boo, who she says is another person in the spotlight, and isn’t willing to reveal exactly who he is this time around after seeing how things played out between her and her former basketball boo New York Knicks’ player J.R. Smith. Though things took an ugly turn between her and J.R. Smith, J.R. finding no problem publicly embarrassing K. on Twitter and K. shading him for dissing her, in an interview that she did with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, K.Michelle talked about her previous romance with J.R. Smith and admitted that he had her gone. And even admitted that her whole album is about him:
“That whole album is about that boy. Dudes use us for c**chie, I use men for songs…Yeah man, he played me. I was in love man…I was so open dude, like I was ready to cook breakfast naked, sing songs. I was ready to find, like to sit down. I was very sincere.”
In reference to Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, K. Michelle was asked about whether or not the focus would be on her music now that she had a new deal. And K. Michelle says that she has gone off on more people this time and is just really wanting to be in the studio, doing her thing. K. even spilled some tea about Mimi Faust’s new man and his sexuality, saying that she thinks he has a thing for men on the low:
“I can honestly tell y’all, I will tell you. They’re focusing on it. We are like into the sixth episode, I have cursed everybody out. I’m just done…I just don’t like, you know, I don’t know. Like Mimi has a new boyfriend and I think he’s down low. No one can take that from me. That’s my opinion. You can’t get mad at me for my opinion. Stuff like that going on, normal stuff I wouldn’t even be in the middle of…I really just wanna be in the studio…I’m like okay, I’ve given you a lot of f*ckery to open up the season. I need a little break. I need to do what I love.”
And while her time on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is seen as a career booster for K. Michelle, she feels as though she has to give 110% with what she does as an artist coming from a show where a lot of people claim to be artists. K. Michelle also gave her take on the whole beef between Keyshia Cole and Michelle Williams and said that she thinks Keyshia popped off about Michelle because Michelle came at her first and Key was simply returning the favor but says that she does think the situation should be dropped.
K. Michelle mentioned before that she was a little unsure about doing another season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta but decided to go through with it. However, K. says that this will most likely be the last time she will be apart of the show, saying that she has spoken to Mona Scott-Young about having her own show:
“I don’t wanna do no more reality. I’ve been talking to Mona about producing my own show. I really wanna do that. I have so many songs, I really wanna get in with artists and really start writing and you know, do that. So I’m not really big on, I think this probably will be my last season of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.”

Well she got what she really wanted now, a record deal, so I don’t blame her for wanting to walk away.
Oh Lawd…
Messy.
I doubt she was in love with J.R.’s ignorant a-s. I think she was just too hype about being with a NBA star. Oh we’ll and Mimi’s new boo looks a little suspect. But so does Stevie J. Lol.
She sounds like she’s getting smarter about the industry. This would be the perfect time to walk away from realty TV. She has her record deal and a bigger fan base. Why not?
Mimi stay losing.
Pretty much.
