Rihanna’s personal life may be a favorite target of the media, but it doesn’t mean she’s still not making some major moves in her career like the international pop star she is. Not only is Rihanna officially dipping into the fashion designer role, but now the “Diamonds” singer is now trying her hand at MAC. It has been confirmed that the beauty will have her very own MAC collection. According to reports, Rihanna’s just landed quite an impressive deal with the cosmetics company. The singer says she’s excited about the new opportunity because it allows her to tap into her creativity.
Here’s what she had to say about the new partnership with MAC in an exclusive interview with WWD:
“When you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind — for something legit — is MAC. Whatever color you want, it’s like ‘Let’s go to MAC.’ I’ve been using MAC on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand.”
Rihanna will have four collections with MAC, and the RiRi [Hearts] MAC Collection will be introduced this year.
Rihanna joins the ranks of other boss chicks in the music industry who have collaborated with MAC Cosmetics. That roster includes Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, and Fergie just to name a few. We expect more information and photos of the collection to be released soon.

I fully expect this collection to have some bold colors. I will be disappointed if it doesn’t. Love me some MAC.

Have you tried NARS or Urban Decay? I think they are better, at least in the blush/eyeshadow department. Urban Decay is my favorite.

ehhh we’ll see. Hopefully this collection will be nice, no need in paying for the face behind the makeup. But Nicki’s lipstick was dope, so hopefully MAC can do the same for Rihanna.
