Is Janet Jackson married? For the last few months, it’s been a lot of speculation printed in the tabloids about Janet Jackson’s upcoming wedding to Wissam Al Mana. Most of the reports suggested the happy couple planned to ball out for their wedding ceremony, while other reports claimed Wissam Al Mana had agreed that he would pay Janet half a billion dollars if things didn’t work out. Despite all the speculation, Janet has been very mum about where things stood in her upcoming nuptials. Well that is at least up until now.
Today, Entertainment Tonight Online got confirmation via a statement from Janet that made it clear that there was no truth to any of the rumors and that she and Wissam Al Mana are already married. According to the statement, Janet and Wissam Al Mana married sometime last year:
“The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.
“Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet.”
The confirmation comes just days after Jermaine Dupri claimed in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club that he did not cheat on Janet, nor did he cause the split by cheating with some random stripper. The So So Def founder hinted that he felt his demanding career was the cause of the former couple’s demise.
Congrats to Janet and Wissam Al Mana.
Wow. That was fast. Congrats!
Janet has always been extremely private. I’m not even shocked she was able to get hitched last year without anyone knowing. Congrats!
Awe yay! love me some Janet! And yes, she is private as hell! She tricks the media all the time.

Janet has really upgraded! The little troll J.D. wanted to play games, so a billionaire had to step it up and put a ring on it. I’m so happy for her.
