Listen: Ciara Premieres New Single “Body Party”

As we recently reported, today is the day that Ciara dropped the full track to her new single “Body Party.” Ciara has already teased her fans with a snippet of her new single, as well as a sneak peek at the steamy single’s cover work. But now she’s ready to make her claim back to R&B success and she’s hoping that this new single will make all of that possible. The song uses the beat to the legendary R&B classic Ghostown DJ’s “My Boo” and it’s got a rather sexy sound to it. Interestingly enough, the song even features Ciara’s current boo thang Future, so it’s surely a collaboration that the singer takes a lot of pride in.

Ciara premiered the song exclusively on Billboard, and chatted it up with The Juice regarding her new single and most recent collaboration with Future.

On working with Future, Ciara says:

“Let’s just say that this record came out of a very sincere place. I think when things just organically feel right, naturally good things come from it. He’ s such an amazing, creative person.

“I can be very creatively expressive myself, but there’s nothing like being able to work with someone that can bring a new flavor. What I like about [working with] him, it’s almost like I got to learn more things about myself.”

 

The single was produced by Mike WiLL and co-written by Future and Ciara.

Ciara also tells The Juice that her album is set to drop in June.
