As we reported recently, a paternity lawsuit was filed against NBA legend Michael Jordan the other day. In the suit, Pamela Smith accuses the basketball star of fathering her 16-year-old son who goes by the nickname “Taj.” In the paperwork filed, Pamela is requesting child support and for Jordan to pay Taj’s medical bills, and even alleges that she got pregnant with her son while Michael Jordan was married. As for Michael’s alleged 16-year-old son, he’s been pretty busy on the social networks and YouTube claiming Jordan is his father and claiming that he only wants to be treated as part of the family.
Welp, it looks like Michael Jordan isn’t looking to treat Taj like family anytime soon because according to his attorney, the 16-year-old is not his son. Jordan filed paperwork on Monday requesting that the paternity lawsuit be dismissed and he’s even suggesting that the boy’s paternity was established in Pamela’s divorce paperwork in which she claimed her son was the offspring of her ex husband. Jordan’s attorney released the following statement to the Associated Press:
“Public records show that the paternity of the child was established in a prior case in this same court many years ago and that Michael Jordan is not the father. He also filed a counterclaim seeking sanctions for the false claims made against him. It is unfortunate that well-known figures are the target of these kind of claims. Michael Jordan will vigorously defend himself and his reputation.”
In related news, Michael is set to marry his girlfriend Yvette Prieto in April according to Radar Online. Apparently the drama surrounding this paternity lawsuit hasn’t slowed down things for the couple.

LOL crazy. If she already confirmed that the ex is the father, she doesn’t have a case. Some of these females are a mess.
