NeNe Leakes is definitely one of the stars of Real Housewives of Atlanta who has managed to use the reality show as a platform to go Hollywood. NeNe is now a certified actress who appears on two shows (Glee, The New Normal) and she’s even in talks to get her own talk show, while there have also been rumors that she’s eyeing  that empty slot on The View thanks to Joy Behar’s upcoming departure. And although Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss were able to get their own shows out of their RHOA fame, NeNe continues to pass on doing a spin-off show. Regardless of all the amazing opportunities NeNe now has in acting, she’s made it clear that she is still loyal to Bravo’s “Housewives” franchise because she knows it’s the reason she had the opportunities in acting. So when rumors started spreading last year that she was thinking about walking away from the show after season five, NeNe eventually decided to shut down the rumors and claimed she wasn’t ready to move on just yet. But with all of the catty drama taking place between the housewives this season, it’s clear that NeNe still ponders asking for her walking papers.
Last night on Twitter, during a scene that featured some drama between cast mates, NeNe admitted that she now sits back and sees that people are just being childish. And as a result, she questions why she’s even still doing the show at times.
She tweets:
It looks childish because it is. She’s a real actress now so if she wanted to, I think she could walk away and keep doing bigger things.
Well NeNe has gotten kind of boring now, so maybe it is time for her to walk away. She doesn’t need the show anymore anyway.
Sha has outgrown the show and that’s a good thing. She’s a real actress and she’ll probably get a talk show. Let everyone else act a fool and move on.

Well the whole point of doing reality TV is to get exposure and move on to bigger things. That’s what Kenya wants to do. That’s the reason she’s so thirsty and desperate to be this season’s “Mean Girl.” It worked for NeNe and she wants the same success. So yeah, NeNe has outgrown the show. It’s done what she needed it to do and she can gladly walk away now on top.
I love NeNe but I wouldn’t be mad at her at all if she got the hell on. Hell, she’s a real actress now on TWO shows. And I expect her to get a talk show too. Get it boo. 😉
Cheers to growth…..They all need to step back & look at themselves…..GROWN WOMEN ACTING LIKE THEY R STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL….Nene….stay grounded & remember where u came from…..

I love NeNe and I’m glad she sees it for what it really is…a hot mess! Reality TV is supposed to be a platform for bigger things. Not a career. I’m glad NeNe knows this.
Well she has pretty much let Kenya take her spot as the show’s villain. So now she can see how stupid it looks beefing with people on TV. LOL.
Everyone is kissing NENE a-s this season. Now that Sheree is gone no one has the BALLS to get in NENE FACE *lame*
