It’s clearly going to be a big year for superstar Beyonce considering that she’s set to drop her fifth studio album this year and begin her world tour “The Mrs. Carter Show” this summer. She wrapped up an epic Super Bowl halftime show, and bounced back after the whole lip sync scandal that took place during her performance at the Inauguration. Then there’s that new multimillion dollar deal with Pepsi, of course that HBO documentary that resulted in record-breaking ratings for the network, and an upcoming appearance in animated movie Epic. So yes, Beyonce is still one of the industry’s busiest women, but despite that, she’s still making time to cover leading magazines and work on opening up and revealing more about herself to her fan base whom she affectionately refers to as the “BeyHive.”
When it comes to her body though, Beyonce admitted recently in the upcoming April issue of Shape Magazine that she has to work hard to keep in shape because she’s not a naturally skinny woman. But she also revealed that dancing helps her maintain a healthy weight and encouraged women to love their flaws despite the pressures of society to appear perfect. Regardless, she revealed that she gained about 57 pounds thanks to her pregnancy. But all those pounds haven’t managed to detract her from wanting more babies. She tells the publication that she actually plans to start working on baby number two after she wraps up her world tour:
“I’ll probably start after this tour. We’ll see if it happens.”
I hope it happens for her. She seems to really enjoy being a mom. Love Bey!
