Season five of Real Housewives of Atlanta has been full of drama, beefs, and ridiculous antics thanks to new cast member Kenya Moore; but there’s been some positive moments to come from the season as well. And for Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes, it looks like they have plenty to look forward to in their personal lives as both are engaged to be married. Kandi is engaged to her beau Todd Tucker, and NeNe is engaged to her ex husband Gregg Leakes. NeNe admits that she and Gregg needed to divorce in order for things to be put into perspective, especially since she feels Gregg had a hard time adjusting to her new success as an actress. But things are much better for the couple now, and after his recent very romantic proposal, it’s clear that he’s ready to prove himself to NeNe and be a better husband this time around.
In a recent interview with E! Online, NeNe decided to show off her engagement ring and dished about her upcoming wedding plans. She also mentioned that her ring is 15 carats, and Gregg said he wanted her to have a carat for every year they’ve had together (17 years), but could only get 15. She also says that she and Gregg are hoping to remarry in June, but that all depends on if they are able to book a venue or not in time.
NeNe says:
“I’ve been with Greg since 1996. We were married for 15 years and divorced for a year and a half and now we’re getting back together. You have to learn to work together as a team and communicate. Communication is definitely the key.”

E! News also caught up with Kandi Burruss, and Kandi says that she and Todd have already decided on a date for their big day. However, she’s keeping that information to herself, and it’s rumored that she has to be mum because it could all play out on TV.
Kandi says:
“We do have a date. It’s early next year, but we’re not telling anyone [the exact date].”
I fully expect both to get married on TV. Why not let the network pay for it? That’s pretty smart IMO.

Yeah, Kandi is definitely getting married on TV. As cheap as she is, I highly expect her to make the network foot the bill.

I love me some kandi in the sense that this girl knows who she is and no fame or money can change her – cheap my a– sensible if you ask me – how many of the housewives can purchase a home for cash – how many of them got a man that can truly foot the bill for anything they would want – and how many of them will continue to make money when the cameras and lights have turned off – I say take a look again at the joker smile of kandi’s because she can smile all the way to the bank!
