On the latest episode of “Basketball Wives,” the strain on Jennifer and Evelyn’s friendship worsens after Shaniece is brought up. Here are the highlights for, “Win, Lose, or Brawl.”
Ty Young makes her debut.
Evelyn meets up with Brandi. They await Ty’s arrival but chat in the meantime. Jennifer is brought up. Evelyn believes Christian is “running circles” around Jennifer. She worries about how this will end for Jennifer.
When Ty arrives, Evelyn introduces her to Brandi. During a green screen interview, Ty says she has retired from the WNBA. She is now a coach for the Chicago Sky. She also has a fashion company as well.
Ty used to date Ming Lee, who is also new to the circle. They were together for 9 months. Things are weird between them now and they are trying to figure out if they should reconcile.
When Ty asks Brandi if she’s married, she answers “It’s complicated.” She can’t get past her husband Jason cheating on her 50 times.

Jennifer is furious.
Jackie and Ming go for a walk. Jennifer is supposed to meet them but she’s running late. Jackie talks about her daughter Chantel joining the group. She has always been independent but it hurt Jackie that she eloped. Chantel didn’t invite Doug or Jackie to her wedding.
Ming says she became a mother through the IVF process. She was told she couldn’t have children, so becoming a mother was her greatest accomplishment.
Jennifer FaceTimes Jackie. She is no longer joining them on their walk. Christian is sitting beside her. He starts talking about Friendsgiving. Jennifer was very upset about what Evelyn said to her.
Jennifer thinks Evelyn needs to “find something else to talk about” because she’s acting like an “obsessed fan.”
Christian tells Jackie he wants to meet with her soon because Evelyn is trying to make him out to be a “villain.”

Jennifer claps back.
Jackie has her sit-down with Jennifer and Christian. Christian confirms Carl’s cousin was one of his clients, but he denies stealing $1500 from her. He tells Jackie he charges a flat fee for his services, $1500. The issue was Carl’s cousin didn’t finish the process and fund her accounts, but he’s open to refunding her money.
Jennifer says she is tired of Evelyn saying she married a felon. Her daughter Shaniece just had a baby by a felon (rapper The Game).
Jackie knows it’s only going to get messier from here.

Evelyn laughs when she’s accused of being jealous.
Ming, Evelyn, and Chantel hang out. Evelyn and Chantel gush about how much they surprisingly like each other. They bond over their chaotic relationship with Jackie. Chantel laughs when Evelyn suggests she replaces Jackie in the group.
When Ming tells Evelyn that Jennifer thinks she’s jealous of her relationship, Evelyn thinks this is hilarious. She says Christian was in jail before their Paris trip. And they aren’t legally married. She couldn’t find a marriage license.

Jennifer doesn’t back down.
Chantel has another event to bring the women together. Jackie stirs the pot by telling Jennifer she should repeat what she said about Evelyn. Jennifer says Evelyn likes to highlight Christian being a felon a lot but Shaniece had a baby with a felon.
Evelyn tells Jennifer the difference is Christian is currently scamming people (allegedly) and Jennifer needs to keep her daughter’s name out of her mouth.

What are your thoughts on the episode?
I get what Ev is doing but she should fall back. I mean waaay back. Talking about someone’s husband is disrespectful. Now Jennifer is taking a jab by speaking on Shaniece to I guess even the score.
Honestly…I’ve had enough of Christian & Jennifer. Let her see all for herself.
It may all come crumbling down around her eventually.
I don’t like Evelyn but it’s clear as day Jennifer is doing a lot of deflecting. Christian is being investigated by the FBI. Everyone isn’t lying.
Evelyn needs to go to hell & get a storyline of her own. Why does she care about jennifers man. They arent frds! Thats none of her business. And her & shanice r hoes! Talk about y ur daughter had a bby by ur frds man!!
Again, I’m NOT an Evelyn fan but Jennifer needs to take those blinders off, she’s coming off as one of those desperate women who just cannot live a happy life WITHOUT a man and she doesn’t have the best track record with relationships with men (with one of them being a criminal who stole her Land Rover) and Christian will eventually end up just like the rest of them, cause she’ll eventually grow tired of spending her money on his legal fees
All the ladies look so beautiful this season! 🥰👍I am alone on an island, but I do love me some Evelyn! She is the core of the show. I can’t wait to see how it will play out with her and Jennifer. I totally want them back as best buds.
