Rihanna’s career is certainly on fire as the superstar singer is not only making history with the number of hit singles she keeps churning out with the release of every album but she’s also proving that she’s not the one hit wonder everyone thought she would be several years ago. She certainly has that “it” factor that has translated well into other endeavors outside of music. Rihanna is now not only a fashion designer, but she’s also becoming a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the world of cosmetics. Fresh from her recent partnership with MAC, the singer released her own lipstick yesterday and it was made available online. Many of Rihanna’s die-hard fans whom she affectionately refers to as “The Navy” must have kept their mobile devices and computers close because the RiRi Woo Mac lipstick sold out in a matter of three hours. Here’s what E! Online is reporting:
The cool cosmetic collaboration officially launched today online (they’re also available at the star’s concerts at Barclays Center) and apparently sold out almost immediately thereafter.
“Red lipstick all on da paper!!! #RiRiWoo #SOLDOUT #3HOURS #lookatyou #nowlookatus,” the singer tweeted triumphantly this afternoon.
The good news is the lipstick did officially hit the shelves of MAC stores today and Rihanna will have more collections to come this Summer, Fall, and Winter. So if you’re weren’t able to get it online yesterday, you might be able to pick one up at a MAC store near you. And it looks like it’s a dope shade of red, so it’s definitely a Spring/Summer must have.
