Lil Scrappy and Momma Dee clearly want different things when it comes to Erica Dixon. At the reunion for season one of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, the rapper decided to propose to Erica and told her he was ready to commit to making their family work. Although Momma Dee said she would support his decision, on season two of the hit reality show, it’s clear she has different plans in mind. And so far, she’s already spent most of her time at the beginning of season two trying to rekindle the failed romance between Scrappy and Shay Johnson. Once Erica got wind of what stunts Momma Dee was trying to pull, a confrontation ensued and the future for Erica and Scrappy’s engagement looked bleak.
However, in the upcoming episode, it appears that Lil Scrappy has decided to finally choose a side, and surprisingly, he appears to have chosen to stand behind Erica. In a sneak peek for episode four, Scrappy tells Momma Dee that he wants to be with Erica and she needs to respect his decision. He also tells her that Erica deserves a pass for her recent blowup considering all the things Momma Dee has put her through.
“You ever seen the TV show Snapped? She snapped. You done snapped before. So let her [Erica] have that. I let her have that. She went “ham” but she ain’t call you out your name.
“Mom, that comes from years and years of you pinching her.”
Momma Dee of course disagreed, and said she still feels she was disrespected and Erica crossed the line. She also tells Lil Scrappy that she only wants him to be with someone who will treat him right:
“At the end of the day, I want someone who knows how to love you. And treat you right.”
Lil Scrappy then points out to her that what she wants is the issue because it’s what she wants and not what he wants:
“But you just said the key word. You said YOU want. What you want and I want are two totally different things.”
Okay. We see you Lil Scrappy.

Good for him. But how long will he have this new backbone? LOL.
I know right. Momma Dee is a mess. This won’t make her sit down somewhere I’m sure.

How long will this last?
Not very long obviously of Erica is still talking reckless in her interviews. LOL.
I’m proud of him but we all knot it’s just four episodes in…this could change quickly. LOL.
Look at Scrappy standing up to his momma. It’s about time. #respect
I like Lil Scrappy, but he’s a real momma’s boy. I just don’t see his relationship with Erica working longterm. IJS.
Good! I’m glad he spoke up. But it probably won’t help things. Momma Dee seems like she is hell bent on doing what she wants to do.

Momma Dee really needs to know her place.
This won’t stop momma dee from trying to get shay and scrappy together. I’m sure his words have fallen on deaf ears.
He stood up to her yes, but it won’t last too long. Mama Dee will cook up some more foolishness in her attempt to break them up and eventually she will succeed becuz she won’t stop until they do or until Erica has finally had enough.
It’s about time!
