The Kim and Kanye baby updates are in full force. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are now parents, and just several days after it was confirmed the Hollywood couple welcomed their daughter to the world, numerous reports have been circulating regarding the child’s birth. However, as with any Hollywood offspring, fans and critics have been speculating the most on the baby’s name. Although there have been several reports suggesting the baby’s name would hold steady to the Kardashian family’s tradition and start with a K, sources close to the family have insisted those reports were not true. And now a name has been revealed to the media, and it appears Kanye and Kim have decided to use the name reports suggested they would several months ago. It has been confirmed by numerous sources the couple has opted to name their baby girl North West. US Weekly reports:
Yep, it’s true! Five days after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed a baby girl, a source close to the reality star, 32, confirms to Us Weekly that the bundle of joy has been named, as long rumored, North West. The source adds that the “birth certificate is out,” and that the little girl, born five weeks early, has no middle name.
The first child for Kardashian and the rapper, 35, already has a nickname, the source adds: “They will call her Nori for short.”
In related news, more reports are coming out about North’s birth. According to various sources, the baby’s birth was actually filmed, but Kanye was the one who determined when the cameras would cut off. Perez Hilton reports:
While the family did everything to keep the moment off of our TV screens, they DID make sure they had some footage for their own viewing pleasure!
Kris Jenner apparently threw on her directors cap and stepped behind the lens to document the whole thing, as the source goes on to say:
“Kim’s momager, Kris, who was in the delivery room, filmed portions of it for family viewing only. Kanye told Kris when she could film.”
