Jay-Z talks Blue Ivy? Jay-Z is new to fatherhood considering his daughter Blue Ivy (who is a product of his high profile marriage to Beyonce) isn’t even two years old yet. The rapper has pretty much reached the ultimate level of success with his numerous business ventures and his new deal with Samsung proves he’s still a major figure in Hip Hop despite being in the game for so many years. In the deal, Jay-Z agreed to provide his fans and owners of select Samsung devices with a behind the scenes look at how he developed the new songs for his upcoming album “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” The rapper opens about his fears about fatherhood, and how he’s worried he won’t be a good dad to Blue Ivy in his song “Jay-Z Blue.”
In a video released for his Samsung campaign, Jay-Z says when talking about Blue Ivy and the song dedicated to her:
“[She is] something that we both created. We still marvel at her. It’s most obvious in the song called ‘Jay-Z Blue’ and it deals with — you know my pop left when I was young so he didn’t teach me how to be man nor how to raise a child or treat a woman. So of course, my karma, the two things I need I don’t have … and I have a daughter. It’s the paranoia of not being a great dad.”
In related news, Jay-Z also collaborated with his wife Beyonce again, as the power couple recorded a song for Jay’s upcoming album entitled “Part Two (On The Run).” In the song, Jay-Z claps back at the criticism he and Beyonce received when they first went public with their relationships. The rapper released the lyrics the other day and you can check them out below.
Aww but he’s already a good dad.
Love him!
The fact that he cares so much proves he’s already a great parent.
That little girl is going to be so spoiled. I feel bad for any man who tries to holler. LOL.
This new album is going to be fire!
A new duet with Bey?! Yes!
I’m getting excited about this album.
Too cute.
