“Real Housewives of Potomac” returns this Sunday, and Bravo has released the cold opening for the Season 11 premiere. The clip opens with Karen Huger reading her Bible before starting her day.
She says, “I do like my private time with my God. I do like prayer. I always wake up in gratitude. Honey, I made it through.”
Karen continues, “I am different. I really am grateful to be sober. I just want to be a living testimony that it’s okay to fall. It’s okay to tilt the crown. Just straighten it back up.”
After Karen wraps up her moment of serenity, she walks back into the house and calls for Ray Huger. He leaves without talking to her. In a green-screen interview, Karen says she’s had tension with Ray since returning home.
“I think he’s angry because he has a new wife. But I’m more focused on Karen right now. I won’t apologize for taking care of myself and getting well,” says Karen.
Karen calls Ray and asks him to stick around for morning tea next time. Producers then fast-forward one month, and there is a lot of drama to take in. Another glimpse shows Karen nearly coming to blows with Gizelle Bryant. Ashley Darby and Robyn Dixon have a tense exchange over their friendship. Stacey Rusch calls Gizelle a ***** with her whole chest, and Wendy Osefo breaks down in tears after Tia Glover brings up her upcoming court date.
