Kanye West’s DJ Hudson Mohawke trashes Jay-Z’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” album? Although the launch with Samsung was a disaster, people are still singing Jay-Z’s praises over his latest album as many are already labeling it a classic record before its official release. Not only is Jay’s album receiving a heavy round of applause, Roc Nation artist J. Cole’s “Born Sinner” album is doing very big things on the charts and is expected to land in the number one spot next week on the Billboard 200 chart. Kanye West’s first week numbers for “Yeezus” were far from shabby but ‘Ye did see a sizable drop in sales in the second week.While the Roc crew is busy celebrating all the success they are seeing at the moment, Kanye’s DJ Hudson Mohawke caused a stir with the comments he made about Jigga’s “Magna Carta Holy Grail” album.
Hudson Mohawke starts off by saying Jay-Z has too much at stake to take risks and in the same breath, he praises Kanye for doing whatever he pleases without caring about what people have to say about it. But he made it a point to say he loves Jay-Z (Read from bottom to top):
Hudson Mohawke then tries to claim through retweets that Jay-Z is stuck in his ways and has shown no progression with the new album. And he says Kanye is the one who is “pushing the envelope” as he thinks “Yeezus” is a better album than “Magna Carta Holy Grail”. And Hudson says Jay keeps coming with the same stuff over and over again (Read from bottom to top):
After irritating diehard Jay-Z fans with his negative commentary about the rapper’s new album, Hudson Mohawke claims he isn’t being negative. Producer Mike Dean, who has worked with both Jay-Z and Kanye, stepped in and called Hudson Mohawke out on the comments he was making about the person who is responsible for putting Kanye on the map. And Mike tells Hudson Mohawke he better be careful with his words before he burns his bridge for the “Watch The Throne 2” album (Read from top to bottom):
Although Jay-Z is one celebrity who rarely tweets, he did show his support for Kanye and his new music on his account. Kanye has yet to return the favor. Instead, he has been tweeting about the movie “Pacific Rim” and how good he thinks it is. And many people are convinced it’s all because Kanye is salty because he thought he had a hit on his hands with “Yeezus” and over all the great reviews Jay-Z and J. Cole’s albums are getting from consumers.

Kanye is such a hater. And no his new album is not “pushing the envelope.” It’s trash. The lyrics suck and who wants to hear Kanye’s watered down take on Heavy Metal when all he’s doing is b-tching about being famous and rich?! He’s such a queen.
Whatever. Jay put out some real hip hop! That’s what we need! Why does Hip Hop need to turn into Pop or Heavy Metal for these nitwits to appreciate it and call it music? I love the fact J. Cole, Kendrick, Jay, and even Drake are trying to bring real hip hop back to the forefront. Kanye Kardashian can go away and do reality TV with his baby mama. It’s obvious he’s done making good music.

His album didn’t pull the first week numbers he wanted it to, then the second week the sales dropped by 80%, now everyone’s talking about jay’s new album, and j. cole slaughtered him in the second week for the number one spot. And now when you usually hear about Kanye, it’s about him and those damn Kardashians. Sucks to be Kanye right now.
I disagree Kanye ALWAYS praises JAY Z in his music! ALSO they both continue to use the same formula in their music. Jay stil raps the same way and has the same damn flow. While Kanye HOOKS seems to sound the same but at the end of the day they are both VERY WEALTHY MEN
