Dwyane Wade divorce cost already at $10 million? The drama between Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade picked up steam again a few weeks ago after Siohvaughn slapped D-Wade with a lawsuit over the endorsement deals the NBA player has. Although the suit was dropped, Siohvaughn still had some things to get off her chest as she posted up on a street corner in Chicago to protest her ex-husband and express her feelings to the media. During her protest, Siohvaughn claimed she was homeless and that Dwyane always finds a way to interrupt her parenting time with their two sons Zion and Zaire.
Siohvaughn’s protest almost resulted in her having her visitation rights taken away, but instead D-Wade was ordered to hand over the kids to Siohvaughn as she will reportedly have to attend therapy sessions with their two sons as her mental state is still being questioned. Dwyane and Siohvaughn’s custody battle has been going on for quite some time now. And with all the legal fees Dwyane has racked up, the total may have already reached $10 million at this point. Gossip Extra reports:
Two of the dozen or so lawyers in two states involved with Wade’s split from high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches tell Gossip Extra that the past few months in the six-year battle will undoubtedly run the total tab up to that stunning figure!
“We were at about $8 million last year, and now we’re definitely at $10 million. He’s paying more for lawyers than what he is paying his wife for the settlement.
“It was a complicated case, but it may have become personal.”
I’m told exclusively that D Wade has been paying for his and Funches’ attorneys automatically through a special bank account funded partly with a small portion of his Heat salary, and partly with endorsements.
A source also tells the site that they feel like Dwyane Wade has no idea how much money he is shelling out to cover legal fees.
It’s cheaper to keep her.

Well that’s why it’s just better to work things out and peacefully co-parent.

Well there’s a reason why it’s a saying cheaper to keep her. I know Wade is rich but I know that 10 million put a dent in his wallet.
A HUGE dent.. do you know what I could do with 10 million dollars? Whooo wheeee!
Man! That money could be better used for his sons’ education. What a waste.

If D Wade and his ex could just calm down and cut the antics, they wouldn’t need to do all of this. I think ten years from now they will both regret it.
That’s a lot of money to be blowing through. He probably thinks it’s not a big deal but he’ll see how much it really was when he retires.

LOL I didn’t know he was really paying for her attorneys. Sio is probably keeping him in court to be vindictive and drain out his pockets. She doesn’t want Gabby to live too good of a life with her old boo.
