Usher and Tameka Raymond’s nasty custody battle may not be completely over but it now appears the former couple will add yet another battle to their list of drama. After Usher’s son Usher V had a scary accident in a swimming pool that resulted in him being rushed to the hospital, his ex-wife Tameka promptly filed paperwork to the court requesting an emergency custody hearing. She also requested she wanted primary custody of their two sons, and she cited the incident as proof that Usher was not watching the kids to the best of his ability and his constant traveling for work was at fault.
The hearing was granted and took place on Friday afternoon, but despite Tameka’s numerous tears shed on the stand, the judge ruled for the kids to stay with Usher. Although Usher was victorious, he did walk up to Tameka and hugged her, but new paperwork shows they will be duking it out in court yet again over the current child support payments. According to the paperwork obtained by TMZ, the R&B singer is requesting the current child support payments be lowered, and his reasoning is they are just too high considering he is the one that currently has primary custody.
The website says the documents were filed earlier this month and state Usher currently pays around $8k a month in child support, and he’s claiming they should be lowered because the amount was decided while Tameka had custody of the boys.
Usher is requesting a hearing to have the payments drastically lowered, however, as of now no date has been set for the former couple to battle it out in court just yet.

So this is why Tameka is trying so hard to get those kids back. LOL!
He’ll probably get this too. If Usher pays for Tameka’s laywers, no wonder she can’t win in court for anything. These exes better smarten up and hire/pay for their own lawyers.

How is he paying child support if he has full custody?
Good question. I guess he has to still pay because she does still get visits and weekends.
Exactly the question I had! The person who gets visitation is usually the person who has to pay child support. Something just isn’t right with this whole situation.
I just hope both get along for the kids sake because both Tameka and Usher have did dirty underhanded tricks. I promise divorce and custody brings out the worse in people.
