Usher and Tameka Raymond’s Son Hospitalized in ICU After Pool Accident

Usher and Tameka Raymond’s son Usher Raymond V hospitalized in ICU after serious pool accident? Although Usher Raymond and Tameka Raymond are no longer together and have been locked into an ongoing custody battle over their two boys, they both share one thing in common. And that is the love they have for their children. Usher and Tameka had to deal with the tragic passing of Tameka’s 11-year-old son Kile Glover from a previous relationship who died from injuries he sustained during a jet ski accident. And now it is being reported that Usher and Tameka’s 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V is currently in ICU at a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia after he was involved in a serious accident in the singer’s pool yesterday evening, TMZ reports:

Sources tell TMZ, the accident occurred around 6 PM yesterday. Usher was not home at the time.

Here’s what we know. The child was playing in the pool with his aunt and saw a toy in the drain. He dove down to get the toy and his arm got stuck in the drain. The aunt immediately dove in to the rescue him but couldn’t get his hand out. The maid then dove in and tried but was also unsuccessful.

The maid screamed for help. Two men working in the house came out, dove in and freed the boy. He was given CPR immediately and rushed to the hospital. Usher arrived and drove in the ambulance with his son.

The website goes to say they have been told both Usher and Tameka are present at the hospital and doctors are saying Usher Raymond V will be okay based on the tests they have done on him.
