Lamar Odom Won’t Be Charged for Paparazzi Attack

Lamar Odom paparazzi attack results in no charges? Lamar Odom has had a rough past few months. The NBA star is not only finding himself the constant target of nasty allegations of cheating on his reality television wife Khloe Kardashian, but the tabloids are once again declaring that the couple’s marriage is falling apart. In fact, those close to Lamar claim it’s the cheating allegations that played a role in him going off on a paparazzi a few weeks ago. As we reported recently, Lamar was caught on camera taking all the items out of a pap’s car and throwing them into the street. In the middle of his anger filled actions, the basketball player ended up damaging the paparazzi’s camera equipment. Some sources even claimed after all of the items were tossed into the street by Odom, he then allegedly began to beat on the man’s car with a crowbar.

Later reports suggested Lamar could possibly be charged with a felony for going off on the nearby pap and damaging his property, but now it appears Khloe Kardashian’s hubby has been cleared. According to TMZ, he will not be prosecuted for the recent attack. Although the case ended up in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney for a possible misdemeanor vandalism charge, law enforcement insiders tell the website Odom has agreed to pay for destroying the pap’s camera gear. The City Attorney will hold an office hearing and Lamar and the pap will have a meeting with the hearing officer regarding rights and responsibilities.
