Did J. Cole and Diddy fight? That seems to still be up for debate despite Diddy trying to shut down rumors via his Twitter account. The 2013 Music Video Awards may be over, but people are still talking about some of the drama that went down at the festivities surrounding one of MTV’s very popular award shows. When people aren’t talking about Miley Cyrus’ controversial performance with Robin Thicke, folks are still gossiping about what went down at some of the show’s after parties. In particular, rumors suggest P. Diddy may have gotten into an altercation with J. Cole, and those who claimed to be at the party both attended say things got so heated between both that they ended up getting physical. Although Diddy did take to his Twitter account to downplay the rumors and suggested things didn’t get as physical as the media is claiming, people who claimed to have witnessed the confrontation are saying something completely different.

In fact, sources tell the New York Post that things did get physical and both of the stars got into a very heated shoving match after some words were exchanged. Onlookers are saying at one point of the party J. Cole may have gotten a little too close to Diddy and Cassie out on the dance floor, and that’s when an argument ensued between J. Cole and the Bad Boy Records head honcho.

According to the report, Diddy was simply furious J. Cole had gotten so close to his girlfriend Cassie, and J. Cole didn’t back down from Diddy’s alleged verbal threats. A source who witnessed the drama go down at the PH-D rooftop lounge at the Dream Downtown told the New York Post:

“J. Cole was saying inappropriate things to Sean Combs and his girlfriend, Cassie. Sean immediately pounced. Some pushing and shoving happened. No punches were thrown, but it was a visible disturbance. A few bottles splashed to the floor and some partygoers were knocked over, falling on top of Renee Graziano from ‘Mob Wives.”

  1. I’m not sure why Diddy is acting all extra over Cassie. It took him damn near five years to even claim her.

  2. My money is on Diddy’s dirty a-s. Anyone that screw over all his own artists should win a club fight easily.
