Tim Duncan divorce finalized in secret hearing? As we previously reported, San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan and his wife Amy’s marriage looked like it was on the verge of ending very soon. The veteran pro baller was said to be having some serious doubts about his wife’s faithfulness to him and he had a strong hunch that she was cheating on him. Tim Duncan’s suspicions of his wife messing around on him reportedly led Tim to hire a private investigator to catch his wife in the act of cheating. And now his 12-year marriage is officially over as Tim Duncan and his college sweetheart Amy finalized the paperwork during a secret hearing that took place outside of the courtroom this past Tuesday. According to San Antonio Express-News, the judge pulled a rare move and made a “house call” to get the finalization of Tim and Amy’s divorce taken care of. The process was said to have been done in this manner over fear of the “paparazzi” factor and in order to keep the media from knowing that the divorce was being finalized.

As Tim reportedly had his suspicions about his wife cheating on him, Amy initiated things by filing for divorce back in March as she cited “discord or conflict of personalities between petitioner and respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship” as her reasons for doing so. Tim wanted to file his counter-petition after he finished up his season with the Spurs, however the pending divorce became public knowledge right around the same time the San Antonio Spurs advanced to the NBA finals to face the Miami Heat.

The terms of Tim Duncan’s divorce agreement remain to be unknown at this time.
