Kenya Bell fired from Basketball Wives? Kenya Bell’s stint with “Basketball Wives” was a short lived one as Kenya remained on the show for only one season. Kenya Bell was introduced as a “Basketball Wives” cast member during season four of the show and she didn’t make her official exit without experiencing her share of drama with a few of the veterans on the show as Kenya’s comments about Evelyn Lozada’s reputation resulted in Kenya getting a wine bottle tossed at her. It was eventually revealed that Kenya Bell, Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams and Kesha Nichols would not be returning for season five of “Basketball Wives.” Royce and Jen appear to be quite content with not being a part of BBW this season however Kenya supposedly tried to rejoin the cast earlier this year but was shut down by the show’s producers after her plot to return failed.

A source tells The Hip-Hop Socialite that Kenya Bell was brought back onto the show to squash her beef with Suzie Ketcham which reportedly turned physical on the set of the show. Kenya’s team supposedly wanted her to turn things up a notch in order to guarantee herself a spot on the show’s cast. While Kenya was able to stir up some drama with Suzie, the plan didn’t pan out the way her team wanted it to. The show’s producers and Kenya’s management team were unable to agree on Kenya rejoining the cast and her scene with Suzie Ketcham may not even see the light of day on this season.

  1. Kenya made me laugh so hard last season. The delusion she had for her “music career” was hilarious. But fighting on TV makes her just as bad as Evelyn.

  2. Funny though, her scene WILL air next Monday so she was able to earn herself a little more spotlight!! Go Kenya!! But as dry as this season is trying to make Evelyn’s evil a-s a victim, bringing Kenya and her drama back is a perfect idea!!!
