Beyonce has been pretty busy on her “Mrs. Carter” world tour, and with a new album on the way, she’s still made time to reportedly shoot two music videos in between touring. It’s also been reported that her fifth studio album is finally finished and some close to the singer expect her to release her single “XO” before the year is over. The Beyhive also got a little more good news on Bey’s anticipated upcoming album as Drake recently confirmed that he did indeed record new music with the singer. While Drake didn’t confirm that song would be on Bey’s upcoming album, it is a rumored possibility .
When Beyonce is not on the stage and getting her fans excited about the new music she’s expected to drop soon, she is honoring some of her own fans for some of their amazing accomplishments. The singer’s #BeyInspired campaign has been going on for months and some of the star’s biggest fans have been meeting Bey and sharing their inspirational stories to encourage the rest of the Beyhive. Most recently, Beyonce met James Martin.
James is an 18-year-old college graduate and he graduated from college with a degree in Molecular Biology.
Although Beyonce is the superstar, she admitted to James she felt it was an honor to meet him because his story has inspired her tremendously. She says:
“I wanted you to come here. I wanted to shake your hand because I’m so proud of you and it’s just incredible how brilliant you are. I just wanted your family to have a good night. That’s it…How do you do what you do? Just born that way? I just wanted to tell you, to look at you in your face, to tell you how proud I am.”

Yes! Very impressive. I’m glad to see young black men doing things like this.
Now this is what I like to see singers making the blogs for…not Twitter beefs!
Exactly! The truth is a pop star should be way too busy to be cyber bullying. Bey aint’t got time for no foolishness. She’s a mom, wife and a professional entertainer.
This is why I love Bey. She is always classy and knows how important it is to spread positivity. My girl!
I love it. I wish him continued success.
Awesome!!!
Wow this is amazing another reason why I love King Bey. He deserves all the praise because I took a microbiology class because of my minor and that was one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. Kudos to him!
Molecular Biology? Sheesh!
Congrats to him man. He has to be very intelligent to not only graduate at 18, but also get a degree that difficult.
Great post. I hope his story inspires other. What he accomplished isn’t easy in the least bit.
*others*
I love her!!!
I love seeing young black men graduating.
THIS is why Bey is on the top… it’s because she gives. The ONLY way you get is to give. She understand that. Other artists are always taking… they get nothing because they give nothing.
Molecular Biology? Whew! Congrats young brother.
