Love and Hip Hop Houston cast denied? Reality television continues to provide viewers some of the most shocking and ratchet entertainment we’re able to handle, but when it comes to ratings, it’s no doubt that VH1 is winning the competition. In fact, VH1 easily nabbed the highest rated cable show for the summer thanks to season two of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” and it’s clear the network has struck gold with the series that has controversial stars like Stevie J., Joseline Hernandez and K. Michelle (although season two was her last). So it’s no shocker that the network has been rumored to be working with Mona Scott Young to create more spinoffs in different cities. And according to the reports, new shows will be added to Los Angeles, New Orleans and Houston.

Just the other day it was rumored that the cast for the Houston show has already been chosen, and the biggest name dropped was rapper Slim Thug. Here’s a synopsis of the other people who were rumored to be added to the line up in our earlier post:

Another rapper rumored to be on the show includes Willie D of the Geto Boys, and video vixen Jhonni Blaze is reportedly part of the cast, as well as DJ Hi C, model/aspiring actress Kristal Solis and her boyfriend and promoter Lil Keith Nelson.

Interestingly enough, both Mona Scott Young and Slim Thug have taken to their Twitter accounts to address the report, and Slim denies being on the show, while Mona seems to hint that a spinoff in Houston has not even been confirmed just yet. Slim tweets (read from bottom to top):

Mona on the other hand told a follower back in September on Twitter that the network still hasn’t decided on the next city to get a spinoff and instead of all three cities getting a show, they have to decide on just one:

She also flat-out told a follower the other day that there’s absolutely no truth to the report that suggests a cast has been chosen:

Well there you have it.

  1. Yeah that cast was pretty terrible, except Slim Thug. He’s ratchet enough that he could do reality tv and bring in the ratings. He should consider it.

  2. I think they should stick to the two shows they already have honestly. Add anymore and the show will start to struggle.
