Rapper the Game hasn’t released a studio album since “Jesus Piece” which didn’t fare too well when it comes to album sales, but the former G-Unit emcee has managed to stay in the headlines quite a bit as of late considering there’s been a lot of speculation surrounding his relationship with reality star Khloe Kardashian. After both have been photographed out and about plenty in the last several days and the rapper went off on the paparazzi in defense of the Kardashian sister, he later told E! News that their relationship was strictly innocent and they are just friends:
“The pictures that [you] see of us out together are because she is a part of my 60DaysofFitness team. Khloe is my friend. She is like a sister. We have never and will never be sleeping together. Lamar is my homie and her husband and I wish people wouldn’t spread such false rumors.”
Well Game may not have a budding romance with Khloe Kardashian, but he does have a budding relationship with YMCMB. According to reports, the rapper was in talks with Birdman to possibly sign with Cash Money Records, and now it appears he has decided to make the move. Birdman confirmed last night via his Twitter account that Game has officially signed on to join the Cash Money Records roster. He tweets:

Game was previously signed to Interscope Records. Baby later confirmed that Cash Money Records plans to make more additions to the roster soon, as he revealed they plan to sign some New York rappers next.
Bad move. He’ll be crying like the others soon saying he’s not getting paid.
Exactly.
Why? His career been over.
I always find it hilarious that people still keep signing to Cash Money or Young Money like they don’t have a track record of ripping off artists. I guess…

People just won’t learn. Cash Money will make a broke fool out of you. He’ll see soon.
Weezy almost left to sign with Jay Z because he found out Birdman was ripping him off and so that’s when he gave him Young Money to make him stay. Drake has been trying to leave for years but he’s too scared to go through with it. And I think Nicki works so hard to get money outside of music because she’s not making much from Young Money either. That whole label is a mess.
nicki and drake are signed to young money not cash money those are two different labels cash money is ran by birdman and young money is ran by lil wayne and mack maine
Both labels are affiliated with each other and Birdman gets a cut from every artist on Young Money as well. Not to mention artists on BOTH labels have complained about not getting paid. Carry on…

His career is still over. He name drops too much in his music and his attention whoring turned a lot of people (myself included) off.
I just have a strange feeling that this won’t end well. I wonder why he didn’t follow Kendrick Lamar and sign with Dr. Dre or even TDE. I just think that would have been better for him.
Game, it’s over bruh. This won’t change anything.
This is an odd fit but Cash Money will sign anybody they just signed Paris Hilton other than Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Lil wayne I dont take them serious.
I think it’s a good look. Think about it. YMCMB are the hottest label out right now. Drake is the hottest act out, Nicki runs it, and Weezy is still a big name in Hip Hop. Tyga is doing well too. Hooking up with them will make him more relevant and he;ll start getting some hot collabs again on his music. I say Game made a smart move.
You should only sign to Cash Money if Bad Boy with Diddy is your only other option.
