As we told you this earlier today, Chris Brown was arrested early this morning for allegedly attacking a man outside of a W Hotel in Washington DC. The singer traveled to DC to host a party for Howard University’s Homecoming, but it’s being reported that he ended up getting into an argument with an unidentified man that resulted in him allegedly punching the man. He is currently in jail, and he was detained for felony assault. While initially the details were slim, now more details are leaking out about the incident.
According to TMZ, the alleged victim is claiming Chris attacked him because he attempted to photo bomb a photo Chris was taking with two female fans, and he claims Chris became so outraged that he tried to get in on the photo that he allegedly began to hurl homosexual slurs at him. In particular, he tells the website Chris said:
“I’m not into this gay s**t, I’m into boxing.”
He says seconds later Chris allegedly punched him once in the face and he did not hit Chris once. The man claims his nose was broken and he is still in the hospital because he will have to get surgery sometime tomorrow.
Chris’ camp is calling BS on the victim’s story and they told TMZ the man was actually trying to make his way on the tour bus and the singer was just trying to stop him from trespassing. They claim the two young women were actually trying to get on the bus first, but after they were stopped the victim and his friend then tried to make their way on the bus as well.
Chris’ bodyguard was also arrested and both are to remain in jail today due to DC’s laws. They can’t get bail until they appear in front of a magistrate on Monday.
The victim plans to press charges and has already hired a lawyer. He also says he doesn’t understand why Chris is “so homophobic.”
The singer is due back in court on November 20 to update a judge on his probation.
He still should have kept his fists to himself.
I knew he would come with an excuse sooner or later. Typical Chris Brown behavior!
If it wasn’t self defense meaning this man attacked him first, there is no excuse and he should have walked away.

Why Chris Brown refuses to let the bodyguards do what their paid to do is beyond me. He is definitely going to jail and maybe he needs to be there because he just doesn’t get it.
Exactly like why even hire bodyguards if you’re going to do all the security and fighting yourself?!

He made the wrong choice plain and simple. He should have let his bodyguard handle that and if he would have he would not be behind bars right now.

I so agree. I wanted him to get himself together so bad, but I can’t keep rooting for him if he’s going to continue to act foolish.
